Chef Shawn Harris

Chef Shawn Harris has over 30 years’ experience in the Culinary Arts. During that time, he worked as a Chef for several major restaurant chains. He also has had significant experience as a culinary arts instructor.

Mr. Harris has served as Culinary Arts Instructor for, Brookfield Academy in Cherry Hill, Juvenile Justice Commission/ Respond Culinary Arts Program in Camden for 16 years. During that time, he was instrumental in creating and developing very successful culinary arts programs.

Mr. Harris has an Associate & Culinary Arts degree from The Academy of Culinary Arts, Mays Landing, NJ. He also holds a teaching certificate as well as a ServSafe certificate.

Mr. Harris has a passion for teaching culinary arts to students in way that prepares them to successfully pass the ServSave certificate which ultimately will provide the foundation to a successful career in culinary arts.
